The best known are the Parc Guell, designed by Antoni Gaudi in the district of Gracia, Montjuic Park, located on the mountain of the same name, and the Ciudadela Park (Parc de la Ciutadella), located in the center of the city, where you can find the Parliament of Catalonia and the Barcelona Zoo, famous for hosting until his death at the albino gorilla Snowflake.
Have been recently inaugurated Parque de Diagonal Mar, the largest in the city, designed by Enric Miralles, and the Park Forum, where it was the site that hosted the Universal Forum of Cultures 2004. Very original is the "Maze of Horta, park where the trees are planted so as to create a maze where kids and adults spend fun times. Other smaller parks are the Spain Industrial Park in the Sants, Parque del Clot, near the Plaza de las Glorias and the Turo Park, next to Plaza Francesc Macia.
